Join Us This Sunday

Our church gathers for worship on Sundays at 15h30 near Porte Maillot within walking distance of the Arc de Triomphe.

How do I find your church?

We meet in the Ternes chapel each week, which is located at 8 rue des Ternes, 75017 PARIS. The church is within walking distance of metro lines 1 (Porte Maillot), 2 (Ternes), and 3 (Pereire) as well as the T3b tram (Thèrese Pereire) or by the 165 Bus (Porte de Champerret).

How long do services last?

We begin each Sunday with a call to worship shortly after 3:30pm and typically close service with a benediction (blessing) at 5:00pm. Guests are welcome to arrive early for fellowship or quiet reflection as early as 3:00pm.

Our service includes Scripture reading, singing, prayer (personal, corporate, and communal). We also teach through sermon series that walk through the Bible verse by verse. The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month.

What kind of teaching do you offer?

We teach verse-by-verse from Scripture through sermon series that focus on one book of the Bible at a time. We also teach thematically from different sections of the Bible related to the current season of worship. You can listen to previous messages on our website.

What songs do you sing?

We sing a variety of old and new songs in worship. This includes classic and modern English language hymns, psalm-based songs, and newer spiritual songs. All of our singing is congregational and accompanied by guitar and/or piano. To listen to some of the songs that we sing, feel free to check out our playlists on Spotify.

Will I be expected to pray?

We pray throughout our services in a variety of ways. This includes setting apart space for silent reflective prayer, taking time to recite corporate prayers read out loud, and a community prayer time each week where we share requests and several volunteers pray out loud. We do not pressure anyone to pray, but invite all to freely participate in worship as they feel led or simply to listen and follow the order of worship.

Is there a certain dress required?

Our Sunday gatherings are neither overly formal nor overly casual. Our leaders and pastor wear normal clothes rather than vestments that are typical in formal denominations or traditions. We simply invite our guests and members to dress in a manner that is respectful, modest, and appropriate for worship.
